Suggested Holiday Hotel:

The Holiday Inn Norwich North.  Located approx. 15 minutes drive from the centre of  Norwich. All en-suite rooms have hairdryer, flat screen TV, phone, tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi access.  Hotel features include restaurant, Lounge bar, indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room.

Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 - Depart during the morning and travel to Norfolk, making an appropriate comfort stop en-route, to Bury St Edmunds.  Here there will be time for lunch (not included) prior to group entrance and guided tour of  St Edmundsbury Cathedral. Afterwards we will continue to Norwich and our hotel, the Holiday Inn Norwich North, where accommodation is reserved for three nights on a dinner, bed & breakfast basis. 

Day 2  -  After breakfast, the coach will depart for Langham Glass where group entrance and a glass making demonstration is arranged. From here we travel to the Thursford Collection to see the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs, or ride on fairground carousels and the gondola (for which there is an additional charge paid locally).  During our visit we have also included their ‘Behind the Scenes Tour’ a 45-60 minute tour taking in the back stage area - a great insight to see the dressing rooms and costumes of the hugely popular Thursford Christmas Spectacular, along with Fantasy Land and the Engine Yard. From here we travel to the coastal town of Sheringham where, time permitting there may be a small amount of free time, before we board the North Norfolk Railway for a single journey on the 15.30hrs. departure to Holt. Upon arrival in Holt the coach will be waiting to transfer the group back to the hotel. 

Day 3  -  This morning the coach will travel into central Norwich where a local guide will join us for a tour of the city on board the coach and partly on foot. After the guided tour there will be some free time before we depart for Horning, Here we will board the Southern Comfort Paddle Boat for a 2-hour cruise on the Norfolk Broads accompanied by some Jazz musicians. After what is sure to be a great afternoon, we rejoin the coach and transfer back to the hotel. 

Day 4  -  After breakfast check out of the hotel. The coach will then depart for the Sandringham Estate, where group entrance and self-guided tour of Sandringham House are included. We will depart from here during the mid-afternoon for the journey back to Alcester, arriving during the early/ mid evening.
