Please Note:
We would like to draw your attention to the accessibility of reaching Edinburgh Castle from the official coach drop off points of either Chambers Street or Kings Stables Road which are approx 500 metres walk from the castle itself. Castlehill, the old-cobbled approach to the Esplanade, is a short walk of some 80 metres, though on a steep incline, and consequently, may prove difficult for some clients.  In addition, there is on average, a further 60 metres followed by a minimum of five steps to be negotiated to reach the front rows of all the spectator stands in the arena.
