The Hamlet Court Hotel - Nestled in the heart of the quaint hamlet village of Johnstownbridge on the border between County Kildare and County Meach, yet only a 30 minute drive into the busstle of Dublin City Centre.  The 3* Hamlet Court Hotel oozes all the character and charm associated with a boutique hotel in rural surrounds.  All rooms are reserved with private bathrooms, multi-channel cable TV, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities.  Hotel features include a restaurant and bar.


Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1
Depart during the morning (approx. 08.00 hrs) and travel north to Holyhead, arriving in time to board an early afternoon sailing to Dublin / Dun Laoghaire.  Upon arrival we will continue to our hotel - The Hamlet Court Hotel Accommodation is reserved for four nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis, including entertainment on nights 2, 3 & 4.

Days 2 - 4
During the tour, the following excursions are included:

  • An excursion to the Irish National Stud, including a guided tour, entrance to the Japanese Gardens, St Fiachra’s Garden and the Horse Museum.  This is the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry - a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world.
  • A full day excursion to Dublin, including a guided tour.  Dublin is a city steeped in history and its many sights include 2 majestic cathedrals, the oldest university in Ireland, the iconic Ha’penny Bridge and the fascinating castle.  Afterwards we visit the Guinness Storehouse, where admission and a guided tour are included. 
  • A guided coach tour of County Meath - Ireland’s Heritage Capital.  County Meath is known as the Royal County and derives its name from the Second Century AD as a territory for the High Kings. The abundance of historic monuments within this area testifies to the ancient importance of this region and some of the most important historic sites and monuments in Ireland dot the landscape here for example the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Brú na Bóinne.

Day 5
After breakfast we must check out of the hotel and commence our return journey to Dublin / Dun Laoghaire for the ferry sailing back to Holyhead.  Upon arrival we will travel back to your local area, arriving during the evening.
