Lake Garda – 10 Days / 9 Nights

Escape to beautiful Lake Garda - nestling at the foot of the Dolomites with a mild Mediterranean climate and picturesque mountains.

Our base in Lake Garda will be the 3* Hotel Villa Giuliani, which is situated at the north end of the lake, on the outskirts of Riva del Garda, towards Torbole, and only 200 metres from the lakeshore.  

Accommodation is reserved for seven nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Overnight accommodation on the outward and return journeys will be reserved on a dinner, bed and continental breakfast basis at a good class hotel in France / Germany.

Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1
Depart by coach during the early morning and travel to the south coast for our crossing to Calais. Upon arrival in Calais, the coach will continue to our overnight hotel, which will be situated in France/Germany. Accommodation is reserved for one night on a dinner, bed and continental breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast the coach will continue its journey into Italy, arriving at the largest of the Italian Lakes - Lake Garda, where accommodation is reserved for 7 nights at the 3* Hotel Villa Giuliani.

Days 3-8
During your stay, the following excursions have been included in the holiday price:

• A full day tour of the lake by coachA full day excursion to the magnificent city of Venice.  Enjoy the famous sights including the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square and the Doges Palace.  Take a walk over the Rialto Bridge - an ideal spot to watch the activities of the boats on the Grand Canal below
• A full day excursion into the imposing Dolomite region. This includes a scenic drive through the magnificent mountains with their fantastic shaped pinnacles and dramatic pillars.
• A full day excursion to the city of Verona - one of Italy’s most beautiful and historic cities.  Don’t miss the impressive square - Piazza Bra with its ornate fountains and the delightful pavement cafes dominated by the magnificent Roman Arena - the third largest in the world. Continue through to Piazza Erbe - the old Roman Forum where nowadays you will find a large open-air market selling an assortment of local produce.  As well, you can browse around the various selection of shops in Via Mazzini or even visit the famous balcony featured in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet’.

Day 9 
After breakfast we must say goodbye to Italy and commence our return journey home.  Overnight accommodation is again reserved on a dinner, bed and continental breakfast in either France or Germany.

Day 10
After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and commence the return journey to Calais and the crossing back to Kent.  The coach will then continue the journey to your local area, arriving back during the late evening.
