The 4-star Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel, ideally located in the heart of Winchester. All guest rooms offer flatscreen TV, complimentary WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer, bathroom and bathtub.  Hotel facilities include a Brasserie Restaurant and Bar.

 Accommodation is reserved for One night on a bed and breakfast basis.

Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1
Depart during the morning and travel to Salisbury, known as ‘the city in the countryside’.  Here you will have time at leisure to perhaps visit the impressive Cathedral as well as wandering around the many stalls that make up Salisbury’s Christmas Market which transforms the heart of this beautiful medieval cathedral city into a winter wonderland with its authentic German Market style wooden chalets and festive events.  The coach will depart during the late afternoon for Winchester, and our hotel, the 4* Mercure Winchester Wessex, which is ideally located in the centre of the city.

Day 2
After breakfast check out of your room and leave your luggage in the hotel’s left luggage facility. It’s then a short walk from the hotel to Winchester Cathedral, where group entrance and guided tour are included. Following the visit, there will be time at leisure to visit the Winchester Christmas Market, recognised as one of the best in Europe with its unique location in the Cathedral’s historic Close, providing high quality stalls, bustling atmosphere and wonderful Christmas gifts, decorations and festive foods in an abundance. During the late afternoon, the coach will depart for the journey back to your local area.
