Enjoy a break to North Wales - with its rugged coastlines, ruined castles and endless panoramas of the Snowdonia National Park.

Our base in Lake Garda will be the 3* Royal Victoria Hotel in Llanberis.  Set in Snowdonia National Park on 30 acres of gardens and woodlands that include the historic Dolbadam Castle, this classic hotel with an annexe is a minute's walk from Snowdon Mountain Railway. All guest rooms feature en suite bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffee making equipment.  Hotel features include restaurant and bar.

Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1
Depart during the morning and travel north Shrewsbury and Dobbies Garden Centre, where you will have time for shopping and lunch (not included) before continuing our journey via Betws-y-Coed to our hotel, the Royal Victoria in Llanberis, where accommodation is reserved for four nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
After breakfast we join the coach and make our way to the charming resort of Llandudno, where a return journey on the Great Orme Tramway is included. There will then be time at leisure before we rejoin the coach for our journey across the Menai Strait onto Anglesey for a brief visit to the place with the longest name in Britain - 
Llanfair­pwllgwyn­gyllgo­gerychwyrn­drobwll­llanty­silio­gogo­goch.
We return to the hotel during the late afternoon.

Day 3
After breakfast the coach will depart for Caernarfon, arriving in time to board the Welsh Highland Railway train departing at 10.00 hrs, for a single journey to Porthmadog, arriving at 12.10 hrs (times correct at time of print).  Upon arrival in Porthmadog you will have time at leisure.  We return to the hotel via Beddgelert.

Day 4
After breakfast the coach will depart for the short journey to ‘Electric Mountain’ - a Hydro Power Station.  The underground tour lasts approx. 1 hour 10 minutes, during which a “First Hydro bus will transport visitors to the power station itself.  Descending deep inside ancient Elidir Mountain’s labyrinth of dark and imposing tunnels, visitors will experience one of man’s greatest engineering achievements”.  (Please note, the tour is not suitable for anyone with claustrophobia).  After the tour you will have free time in Llanberis before travelling the short distance back to the hotel.

Day 5
After breakfast we must check out of the hotel and commence our return journey, travelling via Llangollen where you will have time at leisure before returning to your local area, arriving during the early/mid evening.
