Suggested Holiday Hotels:

Treacys Hotel, which is situated in Waterford.  All ensuite guest rooms feature multichannel plasma screen TV, direct dial telephone, complimentary Internet access, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and radio alarm clock.  Hotel features include, Restaurant, Spirit Leisure centre which includes a 20m swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam-room and drench shower.

Accommodation is reserved for 4 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

 


Suggested Tour Itinerary:


Day 1
Depart during the morning and travel to South Wales, making an appropriate comfort stop en-route, arriving in time to board an afternoon ferry sailing to Rosslare. From Rosslare we will continue to our hotel – Treacys Hotel, Waterford.    
 
Days 2 - 4
During the tour, the following excursions are included for your enjoyment:
 
Group entrance and guided tour of The House of Waterford Crystal followed by free time in Waterford. During the afternoon, the coach will depart on an excursion taking in Clonmel, the picturesque Knockmealdown Mountains and Lismore. 
 
Full day visit to include group entrance to the Kennedy Homestead, the birthplace of President John F. Kennedy’s great-grandfather Patrick Kennedy. Celebrating the story of five generations of the Kennedy dynasty and is still today farmed by his descendants. We will also visit the town of New Ross on the banks of the River Barrow.  Here group entrance is included to the Dunbrody Famine Ship Experience & Irish Emigrant Visitor Centre.  Centered on an authentic reproduction of an 1840’s immigrant vessel, it provides a world-class interpretation of the famine emigrant experience. Incorporating guided tour, costumed performers and themed exhibitions of the highest quality, ‘The Dunbrody’ provides a unique insight into the bravery and fortitude with which Irish people faced up to a desperate situation.
 
A full day excursion to Cobh where group entrance is included to the Titanic Experience - located in Casement Square in the heart of Cobh Town.  The Titanic Experience is located in the original White Star Line  Ticket Office - a building steeped in history dating back to the early 19th century and the departure point for  many thousands of White Star Line passengers. During your visit you will experience life aboard Titanic and learn a little about the conditions on board for third and first class passengers, plus lots more!   
 
Day 5  
After an early breakfast check out of the hotel and return to Rosslare for the morning ferry sailing back to South Wales. Upon arrival, we will travel back to your local area, arriving during the late afternoon/ early evening.
