A Taste of Ireland  – 5 Days / 4 Nights

Enjoy a 5 day adventure to the delightful Emerald Isle.  The tour features welcoming accommodation and included excursions to lovely Galway, the seaside resort of Bray, Dublin and the Irish National Stud. .

The 4* Bloomfield House Hotel Leisure Club & Spa nestles on the shores of Lough Ennell and is surrounded by 25 acres of magnificent parkland.  All rooms are well appointed and features include a bar / restaurant and leisure club with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room (some facilities chargeable).

Accommodation is reserved on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Suggested Tour Itinerary:

Day 1
Depart during the morning and travel to Holyhead, arriving in time to check-in for an afternoon sailing to Dublin. From Dublin, we will continue to the outskirts of Mullingar and our hotel – the 4* Bloomfield House Hotel.

Day 2
After breakfast the coach will depart for the Irish National Stud, where entrance and guided tour are included, along with access to the Japanese Gardens, St. Fiachra’s Garden and the Horse Museum. After the visit the coach will return to the hotel.  Time permitting, a visit to the town of Mullingar. 

Day 3
Today we depart for a full day visit to the beautiful city of Galway, a thriving, bohemian, cultural city on the western coast of Ireland. Along with being a popular seaside destination with beautiful beaches and long winding promenade, it also has a buzzing cosmopolitan city centre. The city is a joy to explore with its labyrinthine cobbled streets, colourful shop facades and busy café/ bar culture.  

Day 4
After breakfast we have for a full day excursion calling first at the seaside resort of Bray situated to the south of Dublin. After time at leisure, we continue into central Dublin, where you will have further time at leisure.Don’t miss Trinity College and the legendary Book of Kells, Halfpenny Bridge, Temple Bar, or you may wish to visit the Guinness Storehouse or Jameson Experience, (no admission fees included). Plus the shopping in Dublin is fantastic! Depart during the late afternoon for the journey back to the hotel. 

Day 5
After breakfast we must check-out of the hotel and commence our journey back to Dublin, for the return sailing back to Holyhead.
